Two pastry brushes for detailed work and larger surfaces

This two-piece pastry brush set combines a compact round kitchen brush with a flat 1-inch brush. The two different shapes provide a suitable tool for a range of baking, cooking and marinating tasks.

Set contents: 2 kitchen and pastry brushes
Handle material: beech wood
Bristles: natural and synthetic bristles, depending on the brush
Total weight: approx. 40 g
Cleaning: hand wash only

The two included brushes

Round kitchen brush: approx. 18 × 1.8 × 1.8 cm. Its compact round shape is suitable for smaller areas, recesses and targeted application.

Flat pastry brush: approx. 20.4 × 2.4 × 0.5 cm and 1 inch wide. It is suitable for brushing pastries, bread, baking tins and broader surfaces.

For baking, cooking and marinating

The brushes can be used to apply melted butter, oil, milk, egg wash, thin icing and marinades. The round brush reaches smaller areas, while the flat brush covers a wider surface.

When grilling, brush the food away from direct flames. Do not allow the brushes to touch naked flames or hot hobs.

For sweet and savoury applications

Use the brushes to grease baking tins, coat puff pastry, glaze cakes or apply marinades to meat and vegetables.

A brush that has come into contact with raw meat must be cleaned immediately. Do not use it unwashed on ready-to-eat food.

Beech wood with natural grain

The handles are made from beech wood and have a pale, generally understated grain. As wood is a natural material, its colour and fibre pattern may vary slightly.

The flat brush has a metal ferrule. Depending on the version, the bristle material may include natural and synthetic fibres.

Personalised on the wooden handles

Suitable sections of the wooden handles can be personalised with a name, initials or a small logo on request.

The bristles, metal ferrule, connecting areas and sections that are regularly immersed in food remain free from engraving.

Cleaning and care

Clean both brushes promptly by hand before first use and after every subsequent use with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse the base of the bristles particularly carefully.

Do not soak or place in a dishwasher. Carefully shake out excess water and allow the bristles, metal ferrule and wooden handles to air-dry completely.

When required, treat only the clean and completely dry wooden handle sparingly with a suitable care oil. Do not apply oil to the bristles, ferrule or connecting area.

Check before use

Regularly inspect the brushes for loose bristles, cracks, splinters, a loose metal ferrule and unpleasant odours. Do not continue using damaged or insufficiently cleaned brushes for food.

Please note: Do not use in an oven, microwave or dishwasher. Avoid direct contact with naked flames.
