Beechwood bottle stopper with natural cork – reseal opened bottles naturally

The wine bottle is open, the home-filled liqueur bottle is meant to be a pretty gift: this compact bottle stopper combines a flat beechwood disc with a barrel-shaped natural cork. It can be used as a temporary reseal for suitable glass bottles with a cork opening and gives home-filled gift bottles a natural appearance. The overall dimensions are approx. 2.8 cm diameter × 3.6 cm, the cork diameter approx. 20 mm at the widest point and the weight approx. 10 g. The pale beechwood disc has a calm grain and also acts as the grip; the natural cork is elastic, and its slightly barrel-shaped design allows it to compress to some extent and sit inside a compatible neck. The stopper can be used for temporarily resealing suitable wine, liqueur and spirit bottles and for decorative gift bottles. Compatibility will depend on the contents, alcohol level, bottle neck and intended storage period. For commercial bottling or other liquids, the filler must verify that the bottle, cork, connection and contents are suitable for the intended application.

CHECK THE FIT FIRST: Measure the internal diameter of the bottle opening before ordering. Cork is a natural material and may vary slightly in diameter, elasticity and insertion depth. A universal fit for every bottle cannot therefore be guaranteed. Colour, grain, pore structure, shape and minor surface characteristics of wood and cork may also vary slightly from one item to another.

STORE UPRIGHT AND WITHOUT INTERNAL PRESSURE: Closed bottles must be stored upright only. This product is not intended as a leakproof stopper for bottles stored on their side or as a pressure-resistant closure for sparkling wine, champagne, beer, lemonade or other carbonated drinks. The stopper does not create a vacuum and is not documented as airtight. How long an opened drink retains its flavour and aroma will depend on the contents, fill level, oxygen exposure and storage temperature.

INSERT AND REMOVE IN A STRAIGHT MOVEMENT: Make sure that both the bottle opening and cork are clean, dry and free from unwanted odours. Position the stopper straight and press it into the opening using controlled pressure. Angled insertion or excessive sideways pressure may damage the natural cork or strain the connection between the cork and wooden disc. Pull the wooden grip out in a straight movement without sudden sideways force.

PERSONALISED WITH ENGRAVING: The round wooden disc can be personalised with laser engraving or hot branding on request. As the diameter is approximately 2.8 cm, initials, short names, dates, small symbols and highly simplified logos are most suitable – a personal detail for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, wine tastings, housewarmings and Christmas. With a small logo or name, it can also be used by wineries, distilleries, farm shops, delicatessens, hotels, wine-tasting businesses and event organisers. For larger orders, the bottle opening, contents, storage method, design size and required closure function should be checked in advance; commercially bottled products may require additional labelling or tamper-evident measures.

CLEANING AND STORAGE: Remove residue promptly after use. Do not soak or place in a dishwasher; when required, wipe carefully by hand with a slightly damp cloth and allow it to air-dry completely. Store in a clean, dry and odour-free place at room temperature. Do not oil the natural cork or treat it with strongly scented cleaning or care products. Do not continue using the stopper if the cork becomes brittle, heavily deformed or contaminated, separates from the wooden disc, or if the wood develops cracks or splinters. This product is not a toy.

Combined with a suitable bottle, a wooden coaster or a small serving board, the little beechwood stopper becomes a coordinated gift – and an opened bottle becomes a neatly closed piece on your table once more.
