Poppy seed oil with emery cloth (100 ml)

Our food-safe poppy seed oil is made from the seeds of the white-flowered poppy (Papaver somniferum).

Suitability: Ideal for kitchen utensils and kitchen furniture, handcrafted objects, turned parts, toys, knife and tool handles, high-quality color oils, and artist paints.
Properties: High transparency, good protection against moisture and dirt, does not yellow, penetrates deep into the wood surface, slow drying time, warm, silky sheen.
Miscibility: Can be combined with other vegetable oils and thinners as desired.
Includes: Sanding cloth for preparing and caring for your wood projects.
1. Before using your wooden board for the first time, wipe it thoroughly with a damp cloth. Some woods (e.g., oak) raise their fibers again after the first wipe and appear "bristly."
2. To smooth the texture, you can use a scraper or the fine sanding cloth included in the set. This will remove any unevenness and ensure a smooth surface.
3. Then apply a thin layer of poppy seed oil to the surface of the wooden board using a soft cloth. The oil penetrates the wood, nourishing it from within and protecting it from moisture.
4. Leave the oil to soak into the wood for a few hours or overnight so that it is well absorbed.
5. Once the oil has been absorbed, take a clean cloth and remove any excess oil from the surface of the board. This helps to prevent a sticky surface.
