A flat brush in four practical widths

This household and pastry brush combines a simple beech wood handle with a flat bristle head. Select the width to suit the task, from a narrow brush for detailed areas to a wide version for larger surfaces.

Bristles: natural and synthetic bristles, depending on the version
Ferrule: tinplate
Widths: 0.5, 1, 1.5 or 2 inches
Pack sizes: 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 brushes
Cleaning: hand wash only

Choose the right size

0.5 inch: approx. 18 × 1.5 × 0.5 cm. Suitable for narrow edges, small pastries and targeted application.

1 inch: approx. 20.4 × 2.4 × 0.5 cm. A versatile size for baking tins, bread, pastries and marinades.

1.5 inches: approx. 21 × 3.6 × 0.6 cm. Suitable for medium-sized surfaces and controlled brushing.

2 inches: approx. 22.5 × 4.9 × 0.7 cm. The wide brush is suitable for larger tins, loaves and broad surfaces.

For baking, cooking and greasing

The brush can be used to apply melted butter, oil, milk, egg wash, thin icing and marinades. A wider head covers a larger area with each stroke.

When grilling, brush the food away from direct flames. Do not expose the brush to naked flames, hot hobs or the inside of an oven.

Also suitable for household and hobby work

Outside the kitchen, the flat brush may be used for dusting small gaps or for other suitable dry tasks. A brush used for food should not subsequently be used with paint, adhesive or cleaning products.

Beech wood with natural grain

The handle is made from beech wood and has a pale, generally understated grain. As wood is a natural material, its colour and fibre pattern may vary slightly.

The bristle head is attached with a tinplate ferrule. Depending on the selected version, the bristle bundle contains natural and synthetic fibres.

Available in several pack sizes

In addition to individual brushes, packs of 2, 3, 5 or 10 are available. This makes the product suitable for baking classes, hospitality businesses, workshops, events and promotional campaigns.

Personalised on the wooden handle

A suitable area of the beech wood handle can be personalised with a name, short label or small logo on request.

The bristles, metal ferrule and connection between the materials remain free from engraving.

Cleaning and care

Clean the brush promptly by hand before first use and after every subsequent use with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse the base of the bristles carefully.

Do not soak or place in a dishwasher. Gently remove excess water and allow the bristles, ferrule and wooden handle to air-dry completely.

Regularly inspect the brush for loose bristles, splinters, cracks, discolouration or a loose ferrule. Do not continue using a damaged or insufficiently cleaned brush for food.
