Small butter portions with five decorative designs

This maple wood butter stamp creates small round portions with a decorative raised relief. Choose between a floral ornament, a flower with a stem, Edelweiss, a floral heart and a floral star. The movable wooden plunger presses the shaped butter directly from the mould body onto a plate or suitable serving board.

Choose your design

Floral Ornament: A circular design with a small central flower surrounded by rounded floral details. It is suitable for everyday breakfasts, brunches and special occasions.

Flower with Stem: An upright flower with a curved stem and two leaves. This timeless design is particularly suitable for spring, summer, weddings and birthdays.

Edelweiss: A stylised Edelweiss flower with a distinctive Alpine character. It is suitable for mountain hotels, Alpine lodges, farm shops, dairies and regional table settings.

Floral Heart: A heart with small botanical details. The design suits breakfasts for two, weddings, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.

Floral Star: A symmetrical eight-petalled flower with a circular centre. This clearer name replaces the previous design name “Rosette”.

What is a push-through butter mould?

A push-through butter mould consists of a round outer body and a matching plunger. Butter is placed inside the cavity and pressed through the open end using the wooden handle.

The finished portion is released directly onto a plate or board, so the complete wooden mould does not need to be inverted and pulled away from the butter.

For approximately 30 g of butter

Each version is intended for a small serving of approximately 30 g. The exact amount may vary slightly depending on how fully the cavity is filled and how firmly the butter is packed.

The wooden stamp does not produce butter from cream. It is intended for portioning and decorating butter that has already been purchased or prepared separately.

How to use the butter stamp

Rinse the mould body and plunger before use in accordance with the care instructions available for the selected version. Briefly cool both parts with very cold water and remove excess water.

Pull the plunger back or remove it sufficiently to fill the cavity. Add butter that is soft enough to spread but still able to retain its shape. Press it evenly into the smaller areas of the selected design and try to avoid trapping larger air pockets.

Place the open end upright on a plate or suitable serving board. Slowly press the plunger down until the complete butter portion has left the mould. Lift the wooden body straight upwards.

A raised relief on the butter

Each design is recessed into the plunger surface. The soft butter is pressed into these areas and the motif appears raised on the finished portion after release.

The clarity of the individual details will depend on butter temperature, even filling and controlled pressure on the plunger. Minor variations are normal when each portion is shaped by hand.

A round serving with a shaped edge

The mould body shapes both the selected design and the round outer edge of the small butter portion. The serving can therefore be presented directly on a plate, board or inside a small dish.

Use butter with the right consistency

The butter should be workable while remaining firm enough to retain its shape. Very hard refrigerated butter will be difficult to press into the relief and may require excessive force on the plunger.

Butter that is too soft may stick to the wood or lose its outline after release. If the plunger is difficult to move, do not apply force. Check the butter consistency first.

For breakfasts, brunches and special tables

The small portions are suitable for family breakfasts, Sunday brunches, weddings, birthdays and carefully arranged tables. The five designs allow the presentation to be adapted to the occasion, season and target audience.

Several portions can be prepared and chilled before serving. The wooden mould itself should not be frozen or stored permanently in a freezer.

For hotels, cafés and guest houses

The individual serving size is particularly suitable for guest houses, hotels, cafés, wedding venues, farm shops and smaller hospitality businesses.

The floral ornament and floral star can be used throughout the year. Edelweiss suits Alpine businesses, the heart works for weddings and special breakfasts, and the flower is ideal for spring and summer.

Pale maple wood with natural grain

Maple wood has a pale colour and generally fine, understated grain. This allows the mould body, wooden plunger and recessed designs to remain clearly visible.

Wood is a natural material, so its colour, grain and minor surface characteristics may vary slightly from one item to another. These differences form part of its natural appearance.

Personalised on the exterior

A suitable smooth exterior area can be personalised with a short laser engraving or hot branding on request. Initials, dates, short names, hotel abbreviations and small logos are particularly suitable for the compact dimensions.

The inner cavity, plunger plate, relief, moving contact surfaces and all direct food-contact areas remain free from engraving. The available position and design size are checked before personalisation.

For hospitality and promotional use

With exterior engraving, the butter stamps can be prepared as gifts for hotels, guest houses, cafés, dairies, cheese producers, farm shops and regional food brands.

The design selection, engraving, quantity, packaging and delivery time can be coordinated individually for larger orders.

Cleaning the mould body and plunger

Remove butter residue promptly after use and clean the mould body and plunger separately by hand. Follow the care instructions available for the selected version.

Do not soak or place in a dishwasher. Dry both parts separately and allow them to air-dry completely with sufficient air circulation.

Do not insert the plunger back into the mould body until both parts are fully dry. Do not dry on a radiator or in direct sunlight.

Check before every use

Inspect the mould body, handle and plunger plate for cracks, splinters, rough areas, warping and food residue. The plunger should move in a controlled manner but should not fall loosely from the mould.

Please note: This butter stamp is a kitchen utensil and not a toy. Do not use it in an oven, microwave or dishwasher. Do not operate the plunger by striking it or using tools. Price and availability may vary according to the selected design.
