Maple Wood Cover Caps for a Clean Finish on Visible Screws

Exposed screws often look technical and unfinished. These maple wood cover caps help you hide visible screw heads, drill holes and small mounting points – the result looks calmer, more finished and cleaner in workmanship. The set contains 500 cover caps measuring 1.30 × 1.30 × 0.70 cm with a D3 mm pin, suitable for matching Spax/Torx recesses (Torx No. 2). The small pin is inserted into the matching recess, giving the cap a more crafted fit than a simple adhesive dot. With a diameter of 1.30 cm, the cap covers small screw points clearly but discreetly: large enough for a clean finish and small enough not to dominate the workpiece. The cover cap is suitable for furniture, shelves, panelling, wooden toys, saunas, interior fittings, visible screw joints and small repairs where screws should visually disappear.

LIGHT MAPLE WOOD: Maple wood is light, fine and calm in appearance. This makes it especially suitable for light furniture, wooden toys, sauna interiors, interior woodwork, light shelves and repairs on natural wood surfaces.

REAL WOOD INSTEAD OF PLASTIC WOOD LOOK: Many cover caps are made from plastic with a wood-look finish. This cap is made from real maple wood, looks more natural, integrates better into woodwork and suits handcrafted projects more convincingly.

CAN BE FINISHED TO MATCH YOUR PROJECT: Maple wood can be left natural or treated further depending on the application. You can oil, wax, stain or varnish the cap to match the workpiece.

EASY INSTALLATION: Before inserting, check that the pin diameter and recess fit, then press the cap in carefully. If needed, use a small amount of wood glue when the connection should remain permanent.

ORIGIN AND PACKAGING: The cover cap is vegan, handcrafted in family-run workshops and packed without plastic. Hofmeister uses natural materials and deliberately avoids imports from Asia – guaranteed no imports from Asia.

A matching wooden cap calms the surface and turns a visible fixing point into a clean detail – for furniture making, woodwork and repairs that should look finished down to the smallest point.
