Traditional cap lifter with a round beechwood handle for kitchen and home bar

Whether in the kitchen, at the home bar, in the garden, on a picnic or at a barbecue: this bottle opener combines a rounded beechwood handle with a functional metal cap lifter. It measures approx. 13.5 × 4.4 × 2 cm and weighs only around 40 g, is easy to handle and transport, and after use fits neatly inside a kitchen drawer, picnic basket, bar box or barbecue accessory set. The opener is intended for standard drinks bottles fitted with crown caps, including suitable beer, lemonade and mineral water bottles. Position the metal head fully underneath the edge of the crown cap; the closure can then be lifted using a calm levering movement. The amount of force required will depend on the bottle, crown cap and position of the opener. It should therefore be placed straight and fully underneath the cap and used without sudden movements. It is not a corkscrew and should not be used for screw caps, tins or prising open other objects.

A ROUNDED HANDLE IN BEECHWOOD: Beechwood has a calm grain and a pleasantly warm feel. The rounded handle distinguishes this product from flat promotional openers and reflects the traditional shape of classic kitchen and bar tools. Colour, grain and minor surface characteristics may vary slightly from one item to another – this is part of the material’s natural appearance.

PLASTIC-FREE PACKAGING: Hofmeister supplies the item in plastic-free packaging and has its wooden products made in family-run workshops. A specific country of manufacture is not stated for this product.

PERSONALISED AS A SMALL GIFT: The handle can be personalised with laser engraving or hot branding on request. Due to the narrow, rounded surface, short names, initials, dates, small symbols and slim lines of text are particularly suitable. This creates a practical small gift for a birthday, Father’s Day, housewarming, wedding, Christmas or barbecue – ideally combined with a drink, wooden coasters or a glass.

PROMOTIONAL ITEM FOR HOSPITALITY AND CLUBS: With a simplified logo or short line of text, the bottle opener is suitable for breweries, drinks retailers, restaurants, hotels, clubs, trade businesses and event organisers. For larger production runs, the engraving position, maximum design size and legibility should be confirmed in advance. Clear lettering and simple logos are better suited to the rounded handle than photographs or very fine designs.

USE AND CARE: Keep the bottle secure and upright while opening, position the metal head fully underneath the crown cap and move the handle in a controlled manner. Do not open towards another person or use the tool for unintended purposes. Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth, do not soak for extended periods or place in a dishwasher, and allow it to dry completely. Do not continue using the bottle opener if the wood develops cracks or splinters, or if the metal head becomes loose, bent or sharply damaged. This product is not a toy.

A round wooden handle, a metal cap lifter and a calm levering movement – that is all it takes for a barbecue or picnic to begin with a freshly opened bottle.
