Beech wood spaetzle board 35 cm – fresh spaetzle scraped by hand

Fresh spaetzle turn out best from the board: This 35 cm spaetzle board is made from local beech wood and has not been treated with oils. The special feature of noodle boards is that they are bevelled on the side opposite the handle. From both sides, the surface runs towards a pointed edge in the middle, over which you scrape the fresh spaetzle dough and drop it into the boiling water. Meanwhile, you hold the board by the handle, which is also equipped with a hanging hole.

BEECH WOOD: Beech is a hardwood that is particularly sturdy and well suited for kitchen items.

NOT OILED: The board made of local beech wood has not been treated with oils.

BEVELLED SIDE: The side opposite the handle is bevelled, as is typical for noodle boards.

POINTED SCRAPING EDGE: The surface runs from both sides towards a pointed edge in the middle, over which you scrape the dough into the boiling water.

HANDLE WITH HANGING HOLE: You hold the board by the handle while scraping, and thanks to the hole you can simply hang it up afterwards.

This way your spaetzle go straight from the wood into the water – traditional and without a press.
