Spruce wood butter churn – make butter the traditional way

Fresh butter made with your own hands: with this traditional butter churn made from spruce wood, you can make butter in a classic way. Cream or skimmed cream is placed in the churn and moved with the plunger until butter and buttermilk separate – making butter making visible, hands-on and enjoyable again. The churn is available with 2, 3 or 5 litre capacity and comes as a 3-piece set consisting of churn, lid and plunger with handle. It is made as traditional cooperage from spruce wood with galvanised steel hoops and is ideal for cream, fresh dairy cream, herb butter, salted butter and creative butter ideas.

THE RIGHT SIZE: The 2-litre butter churn is compact and ideal for small households, first butter-making attempts and gifts. The 3-litre churn is the practical all-round size for family kitchens, hobby kitchens and regular use. The 5-litre churn is suitable for larger quantities, self-sufficiency, farm kitchens, groups, workshops or special demonstrations.

FOR SELF-SUFFICIENCY, FOOD LOVERS AND FAMILIES: Making butter yourself is simple, traditional and turns the process from raw ingredient to finished food into a conscious experience – lovely for families, food lovers, farm shops, schools, holiday farms and anyone who wants to rediscover traditional kitchen work.

RUSTIC WOODEN LOOK WITH GIFT APPEAL: The butter churn is not only a kitchen tool, but also a decorative piece of cooperage. In a country kitchen, farm shop, holiday home, on a farm, in a workshop, on a breakfast buffet or in a gift set, it looks natural, high-quality and special.

ALSO A PROMOTIONAL ITEM OR GIFT: With laser engraving or branding, the butter churn becomes a special gift, workshop item, farm shop present or promotional item with logo – especially suitable for dairies, farm shops, farms, holiday farms, cooking schools, organic food stores, country hotels and regional gourmet brands.

CARE AND USE: Wooden cooperage is a natural product and needs proper care before and after use. Please follow the included care instructions. After use, clean thoroughly, allow to dry well and do not store permanently damp. Wood can work; careful care helps keep the butter churn usable for a long time.

Cream into the churn, plunger in hand – and little by little butter and buttermilk separate. With this spruce wood butter churn, you bring a piece of traditional kitchen work back to your own table.
